Gallery 3 - Burl vessels inlaid with metallics & autumn mix
plus open forms

Each vessel is a one-of-a-kind work of art that was created over a three month period. Natural edged openings in finely figured native Vermont burled and spalted wood is inlaid with pigmented resins and embedded metal leaf. All pieces are hollow forms, most have very small openings. These vessels are decorative and, although sealed, they will not hold water. Pieces are finished with paste wax, occasional buffing with a soft cloth is usually sufficient to maintain the shine.

The vessels displayed in the gallery are available for purchase. Please note when making your selection that photos are not to scale, but measurements are given to facilitate comparisons. Decorative pieces are presented in Galleries 1 to 3. A fourth gallery exhibits memorial urns.

Purchases may be requested via email or by phone, 802-434-2542. Major credit cards are accepted through PayPal; please do not include charge numbers in any correspondence. Standard shipping within the continental US and insurance is included in the purchase price. Special and expedited shipping charges will be added to the purchase price. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed, the purchase price less original shipping cost will be refunded on all returns received in original condition within 30 days.

Custom orders are welcome. Lead time varies, usually from three to eight months depending on your requirements and the status of pieces that are already in process. There is no additional charge for custom work. Contact me to discusss size, shape, inlay colors, and wood type.
