1. Parade Design Now on Gear

Didja know that baby dragons will parade around with trumpets, flags, cymbals, and some odd little critters? Apparently so!

I've managed to find a little time between mothering and and webmastering to draw, scan, tweak, and upload a new illustration. Or rather, do a second round of tweaking and uploading, since this is the design I'm using as the storefront banner. A couple of people commented that it was their favorite design in the shop. I thank you very much, and hope for your forgiveness at the delay between telling me this and getting it up and available. Take a look, if you can, at the Dragons on Parade.

Just as a side note: Drawing is incredibly relaxing for me (although perhaps not quite as healthy as yoga). I do so love those colored pencils. The original piece is about 5" by 8", and doesn't have the border. I suppose I should get it matted and framed, rather than toting it 'round in my sketchbook.

2. Catering to Whim and Whimsy

Some upcoming good stuff:

• A little more editing on the layout of the store itself
• A summertime illustration (it's ready to be scanned)

I welcome any suggestions and opinions from you, dear readers. (Not that I know who you are unless you write to me; cafepress doesn't tell me who subscribes, only to which shop people are subscribed). What would you like to see, either as a product or the subject of an illustration? A change in the organization? It's been recommended that I bring samples to some sort of trade or gift show--any suggestions? I'm open to all sorts of ideas, even if I don't always get on the action as quickly as we might like.
