Flower(like) Knot Ring Modeled in Rhino with knots from Knots3D milled with rotary axis replacing Y hand hollowed and undercuts on top of shank filed investment cast oxidizied and finish polish
Model Rhino flat model for construction and milling ring shaped model for visualization and verification of distortions caused by rotary axis substitution. Both pieces of knot have been rebuilt as Rhino nurbs models and modified by bending, twisting, scaling and flowing along curves. I'm just working with the top surfaces of these knots. Adding depth only complicates the model, StlWork doesn't do undercuts.
