I've been sitting at professional jewellery benches since 1974 and
developing CNC techniques to complement traditional jewellery techniques
since 1997. My studio workshop reflects my enjoyment of tools. More
tools (and techniques) than space, but the result is an eclectic list of
capabilities.
I'll work with your 'back of the envelope' sketches, images , 3D computer files, or even verbal descriptions to produce custom pieces, waxes, production models and molds, or whatever you need using the most appropriate techniques and tools. Since everything I make is a custom job I haven't listed prices on this site but a basic sterling ring is $225, less for a delicate piece and more for a clunky size 15; gold depends on the current market price. Please feel free to email your requirements and we'll discuss a quote. Concealing 'trade secrets' is a waste of effort, and interferes with necessary communication. I'd much prefer that you know why and how I work. Consequently I will reveal as many background details of the processes and technical aspects involved as you wish to know. Client confidentiality is all that is secret. While my prices are not low neither are the standards of what I'll allow out the door; for really interesting projects which stretch my repertoire, I'll often discount. |
