Richmond’s American Spirit
is the 2012 parade theme to celebrate fun in Richmond. Use your imagination and start planning a float to amaze your friends and neighbors! Events start with the Fun Run @ 10:30. The parade route starts at Harringtons on East Main St., turns south on Bridge St. at the 4 corners and continues on to the Round Church. The judges stand is on Harley Brown’s front porch on the corner of E. Main & Jericho Roads.
The parade starts at 10:30 AM. Stake out a great viewing spot along the route and don’t miss the fun.

on VOLUNTEERS GREEN
Joins us for food, fun and folly after the parade in the park. Great food including
barbeque chicken, burgers & dogs, fires & fried dough are all served by volunteers
in support of many town organizations. Old Fashioned Games, music, bingo, pony
rides, an auction, a dog agility demonstration, and a car show are all part of the
afternoon activities. A Spelling Bee will be held at the library mid-
In the park at Night...
There is lots of fun on the green in the evening. We’ll have great local bands for entertainment. Fries, fried dough, and burgers will be served by the Parade & Fireworks Committee (all proceeds support next year’s event). Lightsticks will be sold to benefit the fireworks. The rain date (in case of heavy rain, not sprinkles) is, July 5th.
