Parade    Festivities    Fireworks

America the Beautiful!

is the 2017 parade theme! Use your imagination to come up a float idea of to dazzle your friends and neighbors.  We hope to see lots of great ideas of what your vision of beautiful America is!  The Fun Run is at 10:30 sharp and the parade also starts at 10:30 in front of Harrington's.  The parade route goes from Harringtons on East Main St., turns south on Bridge St. at the 4 corners and continues on to the Round Church.  The judges stand is on Harley Brown’s front porch on the corner of E. Main & Jericho Roads.  Stake out a great viewing spot along the route and don’t miss the fun.

4-5-18:  The Richmond Parade & Fireworks Committee held a public planning meeting a couple of weeks ago. The meeting was well attended and it seems like there is enough interest and volunteers to continue with the July 4th celebration in Richmond this year.

However, we still need many more volunteers to get involved and make a commitment to help out. Whether you would like to help out on the day of the event, or if you are able to help with planning ahead of time, any level of participation and time commitment is welcome.

For those of you who are interested but were unable to attend the meeting, we have set up an online signup form. If you have something to suggest or offer that isn't on the sign up form, please add it in the comments. Please share the form with anyone you think might be interested in helping out: https://goo.gl/forms/30r5JvozAlVBJ5ex1
